Session 1: Learn about the Common App, a standardized online application used by more than 3,000 colleges worldwide. Understand how the Common App works and how to navigate it. Participants will learn about critical deadlines and how to approach them, which will help them stay on track during the application process.

Session 2: Gain an overview of the college application process to help understand what to expect. Learn about the differences between independent colleges and state universities, which will help them decide where to apply.

Session 3: Learn how college essays are considered and how to guide students when writing them. Receive strategies to help students write compelling essays that showcase their strengths and personality.

Session 4: Receive guidance on approaching the Additional Information section. Learn what to include (and not include) in this section so students can provide a complete picture of their achievements and experiences.

Session 5: Participate in case studies and collectively make recommendations to enhance processes. Provide a practical application of the knowledge gained in the previous sessions.

Session 6: Participate in group discussions to understand the application cycle at each site and begin making recommendations for next year's admission cycle. Gain a deeper understanding of the application process and how to improve it.

Session 7: Roundtable discussion on current SUHSD scenarios.
