How LOCK IN Works
Students move through seven books, one step at a time. Each book ends at a checkpoint the student leads and a counselor confirms. Your team already knows these students; the books and one shared script let one educator keep up with any caseload.

Everything Files as It Happens
Each student keeps a Career Evidence Portfolio with four folders.

Nothing floats. Every artifact names its folder, and the folders tell the whole story.
Teach It. Monitor It. Scale It.
The books carry the content. Your minutes go to the conversations only a person can have.
Teach: The Same Six Beats in Every Unit
- 1Study Guide
- 2See It Work
- 3Practice Together
- 4Practice on Your Own
- 5Level Up
- 6Log It
Teach the rhythm once, in Book 1, and it carries all seven books.
Group Labs use fictional cases only. Peer Review Labs use real work, with a privacy rule.
Labs run twenty-five to thirty-five minutes, in groups of three or four, and end with a two-minute report-back. Every lab has a no-group fallback, and nobody goes first on their own work.
Break Out: Route Crews from Book 4 On
One script for every table
- Read your checklist status.
- The crew stranger-tests one item.
- Set one dated next action.
- Give a two-minute report-back.
Seven tables run in parallel, one per route, with two to four students each. Route packs handle the differentiation. A student who is alone on a route joins the most closely related table and works from their own pack.
- Four-Year
- Community College
- Career Training
- Apprenticeship
- Military / Service
- Workforce
- Entrepreneurship
The educator’s load stays flat: one script, one timer, and any mix of crews.

Dates, not checkmarks
Record the date each artifact was verified.
The sixty-second check
Ask for the Snapshot Board. Stale dates show where your minutes should go.

The meeting checks one student deeply; the roster checks all of them quickly.
The same system works in advisory, embedded, pull-out, seminar, and pilot settings. LOCK IN is available now for fall 2027 orders. The roster on this page uses example students.
